Laptop Repair

So you’re not getting a display on your laptop’s LCD screen, or you’ve plugged in your Power Adapter, but your battery isn’t charging and you’re not getting any power. What do you do? Well, if your laptop is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer and they should be able to correct the problem. If they don’t, or if you’re no longer under warranty, bring it to us, The Tech Fellows and we’ll diagnose the problem. The most common hardware issues on laptops are the Screen and Power Adapter Input (DC Jack). The Tech Fellows have seen it all and are well equipped to handle any laptop issue.

If the problem is the power adapter, we can get a new one for you for a price generally lower than one of the “All in One” adapters you’ll find at most retail electronics stores. If the DC Jack is bad, our technicians can repair it in no time for around a hundred dollars plus the cost of the part. This is a great deal when you look at the alternative of paying, at minimum, $250-$300 for a new motherboard.

The same goes for the screen. We’ll diagnose whether the issue stems from the inverter or the screen itself. We can generally repair this problem for well under $300 including the price of the part. If you went to the manufacturer, it could cost you $500 to $1000 for the same repair. For most basic laptop hardware repairs, we charge $49.99 plus parts, and advanced repairs are $99.99 plus parts. A good example of a basic laptop repair would be a keyboard replacement, hard drive replacement, etc. And an example of an advanced laptop repair would be screen replacement, dc jack repair, etc.

So if you’re laptop has run into any sort of hardware (or software) error, bring it to us, The Tech Fellows for the solution. Thanks for visiting TheTechFellows.com
